Had an incredible time on Lake Ontario this Sunday with a fantastic group of guys! We experienced some fantastic Lake Trout action using a spoon and flasher fly pattern in depths ranging from 38 to 44 feet.

Initially, we aimed for some Brown Trout, but due to the north wind, the water was exceptionally clear with little color, resulting in sparse bites. We contemplated heading south, but decided to stick it out, and it paid off with three Brown Trout catches, including one that measured over 27 inches!

We kept some of the Brown Trout along with a few of the Lakers for a delicious meal—they're excellent when properly processed and cooked.

Now is the perfect time for some near-shore fishing, promising exciting action. Investing in a memorable day on the lake doesn't require a significant expense! We offer both 8-hour and 5-hour trips.
